Window mesh screen is a type of woven mesh made of fiberglass, plastic, or metal wire. It is intended to prevent flies, mosquitoes and other insects from entering the room while allowing fresh air to circulate.
The most common materials of window mesh screens used for preventing mosquitoes and insects are plastic, fiberglass and aluminum. Aluminum can usually be bright or charcoal color, but there are also more color options. Fiberglass is available in gray and charcoal black colors, and charcoal color provides a better UV protection and appearance.
Fiberglass is cheap and has the advantage of not being dented when impacted. However, its strength is not as good as aluminum.
